Our client is a leader in IT Asset Disposition providing high security data sanitisation services as well as installation, decommissioning, and the remarketing of ICT equipment. Their clients include Australia's largest Government, education, and corporate organisations.
They have approximately 150 staff and 3 Warehouses across 2 States. They are one of the largest and most respected leaders in their field with a vision to become the most successful and respected ICT disposal services organisation in Australia.
**About the role**
Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven Accounts Assistant for an initial 12 month maximum term contract to cover Maternity period, with the potential to go permanent due to business growth.
The role works proactively and collaboratively with all stakeholders across the business to ensure the efficient delivery of all finance administrative processes.
As a key member of the finance team, you will be a strategic thinker who is capable of juggling priorities in this fast-moving company where decisions need to be made quickly and we 'just get on with things'.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of weekly payment run in a timely and accurate manner
- Process customer payments and assign to applicable invoice and relevant bank deposits
- Full accounts receivable and payable functions
- Daily reconciling of bank feeds and credit card transactions
- Management of new starters, entitlements, superannuation, workers compensation & PAYG
- Completion of weekly payroll cycle, including adherence with modern award condition
- Management and oversight of Accounts files including verification of ABN, GST tax codes, balance sheets and profit and loss statements
**About you**:
You will be asked to demonstrate the following competencies required for the position:
- 2+ years in Accounts and administrative support role
- Intermediate Skills in MYOB software & Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills

**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
