Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Administrative Officer on a contract for 6 months with potential extension.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

The Administrative Officer will:

- Liaise with staff and external users to manage the booking of meeting rooms and conference facilities at the HBCTL. This includes administration and management of the room booking system and set up details required with each room booking.
- Work in a team environment to provide high quality customer service within flexible working arrangements.
- Create and issue photographic building passes to staff and contractors, including maintaining the database of building passes.
- Assist in the processing of financial records, and reports, procurement and management of office support goods and services, vehicle fleet support and general support to day-to-day ESO corporate operations.
- Assist with the provision of information technology (IT) and audio-visual (AV) equipment set-ups in the training and meeting rooms. Liaise with IT technicians who support the HBCTL.

**WHAT YOU REQUIRE**

The following capabilities form the criteria that are required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Professional and Technical Skills, and Knowledge
- Proven experience and capacity to provide high level administrative support, including good organisational skills and the ability to establish priorities with minimum supervision.
- Ability to make sound judgements.
- Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively and confidently with staff and external clients/personnel at all levels, in order to provide a consistently high level of customer service.
- Ability to operate the full suite of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to use data in providing advice to staff and management using computer software products.
- Desirable
- Current First Aid Certificate, or the ability and willingness to gain one.
- Current driver's licence.
