**Department**:
The Department of Treasury and Finance is the lead agency for economic, digital and financial policy outcomes. We play a vital role in providing financial services to the community and economic and fiscal policy advice as well as digital services to the Government of South Australia.

The HR team provides advice and consultancy services on HR management and development, industrial employee relations matters including HR policy and process, job design and recruitment, leave, restructure process, flexible working, performance management and more. HR also provides case management services for unplaced/excess employees, and a range of compliance related reporting activities.

**Role responsibility**:
The Principal HR Business Partner is responsible for establishing strategic partnerships with Branches in the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) to provide proactive and strategic HR services to support the business in achieving their strategic objectives, directions and operational imperatives.

The Principal HR Business Partner will be responsible for leading and coaching the team of HR Business Partners, and work collaboratively with other members of the HR team.

**About you**:
To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience in:

- Providing advice and support to executives, senior management and employees on a range of complex and/or sensitive HR matters.
- Developing effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- An understanding and ability to interpret HR related industrial instruments.
- Coaching and/or leading others within a HR environment.

**Remuneration / Classification**:
ASO7 $108,109 - $116,864

**Duration**:
Temporary up to 12 months, full time (part time at 0.8/0.9FTE will also be considered)
