**The Role**
The Directorate of Communications Services are looking for a highly motivated individual with current knowledge, experience and skills in Government Procurement, Contracting and Financial Management. This is a multi-disciplinary role, and the successful applicant will be expected to be accountable and driven to achieve successful delivery of very complex procedural, operational, business and financial management activities.
**About our Team**
Our team looks after the preparation and administration of market approaches, including:
- Sourcing strategy/ industry engagement.
- Preparation of RFQ documentation.
- Use appropriate panels and other WOG arrangements.
- Respond to clarification questions.
- Tender evaluations.
- Contract negotiations and awards.
- You will need to be Canberra based and available for full time employment.
- A proven background working with Tender evaluations, Section 23 approvals, RFQ and register maintenance.
- You will need excellent written and verbal communications skills. You must be able to explain complex ideas succinctly in plain English.
- You must have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to build constructive professional relationships with senior stakeholders outside your immediate work area, vendors and colleagues.
- You should have experience with procurement regulation and associated legislation and requirements.
- You will have skills and experience in Government Procurement, Contracting and Financial Management.
- You will be able to manage and respond to tasking in the time frames assigned.
