The role

Pymble Ladies College are seeking a Risk, Policy and Assurance champion This exciting role is responsible for ensuring that the College has state-of-the-art risk management, policy compliance, and assurance systems and processes in place to manage its risks. This role oversees the College's Risk and Policy Management Framework and Assurance processes and helps with informed decision-making by fostering a strong culture of risk management, compliance, and safety.

The role involves the enhancement of our existing framework and the ongoing development of our policies, procedures, systems and controls. This position will take ownership of our Risk & Governance reporting system. In this role you will work with stakeholders who genuinely embrace the importance of a robust safety culture.

Our kind of team member
- Minimum of 18 months experience in a Risk, Compliance and Policy role within the Education sector essential
- Experience with the ownership, maintenance and management of a Risk framework
- Industry Leading Governance, Risk & Compliance Software - CAMMS or similar system knowledge
- Demonstrated capability in developing quality relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- A track record of fostering a culture of integrated safety
- The proven ability to encourage employees to take ownership of risk management
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues efficiently
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to display initiative, contribute new ideas, evaluate and challenge current systems and contribute to ongoing improvements
- Willingness to support the ethos and values of the College
