Contribute your knowledge and skills to our team The Payroll Officer ensures the prompt and accurate processing of employee payments, addresses payroll-related inquiries efficiently, and provides support to the Finance & Payroll Manager on various projects as needed. Come on board with Busways as a Payroll Officer at our National Support Office in Pymble.
About the Role:
In this varied role, you'll:
- Work with the team to complete the timely and accurate payment of all pay runs for 3,000 employees and workers compensation claims on a weekly and fortnightly basis.
- Completing the end-to-end payroll process and terminations; escalating ideas to maintain the payroll system integrity
- Use time and attendance payroll module.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed while practicing confidentiality.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a payroll role, accounting or payroll qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated knowledge including, complaint handling, employee relations, WHS, terminations, workers compensations claims, policies and procedures, inclusion and diversity
Sound knowledge of industry Enterprise Agreements, awards and NES
Great knowledge and experience with MS Office products, especially Excel
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain successful relationships
