What You'll Be Doing:

  • Processing invoices and completing payment runs in line with company policy and timelines
  • Performing regular supplier statement reconciliations and proactively resolving discrepancies
  • Responding to accounts payable enquiries accurately and promptly, maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times, while ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) when handling all AP-related enquiries.
  • Collaborating with relevant teams to ensure proper invoice processing procedures are understood and followed
  • Managing multiple tasks and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Identifying opportunities to improve AP processes and contribute to operational efficiency
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed

What You'll Bring:

Minimum 1+ years' experience in an accounts payable role, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

Tertiary qualification in accounting or equivalent area

Strong understanding of AP functions, including three-way matching, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and knowledge of relevant policies and procedures, including WHS, diversity, and inclusion.

Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have working rights in Australia
