Working with the Director Major Projects and Precincts as part of the Commercial team, you will assist the group responsible for early phase new supply creation, financial and economic viability assessment, project planning/programming, major planning approvals and the development & financial control of projects. This role helps identify and build relationships with targeted community, public and private stakeholders and drives strategy, timelines, budget and compliance parameters to forge, secure and deliver social housing.

You will work on feasibility, due diligence and definition of social housing projects, including partnering with the private, not-for-profit and the community housing sector to deliver new and more social housing in NSW. You will:

- Produce asset strategies for precincts, understanding existing and future tenant housing product and relocations needs, identify opportunities defining the best blend of redevelopment, renewal and recycling strategies.
- Assist with major project planning approvals, build alignment with Councils, critical stakeholders and the community.
- Work with project staff and consultancy teams, ensuring effective stakeholder management and operative financial and risk management processes are in place
- Plan, manage, monitor, report and coordinate governance arrangements to ensure financial, cost, time and quality of planning, approvals and project implementation occurs.
- Provide advice and support to Executive Leadership Team on the development, implementation, management and reporting of projects.

To succeed in this role, you will have Tertiary qualifications in construction management, property development or a relevant business discipline and possess a junior to intermediary knowledge and understanding of property and construction development processes. You will have exposure to major project planning approvals, particularly rezonings as well as sound stakeholder relationship management and project management skills.
