Amid a high growth phase, our Strategy team have several exciting projects in the pipeline which require a focused and analytical individual to support the wider team in driving strategic change in the newly created role of Junior Strategy Analyst.

The incumbent will report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer gaining invaluable industry knowledge and skills from the outset. An external Strategy Partner will also provide training and mentorship to the incumbent.

We are looking for someone with a business / strategic management degree or similar that has had some strategy exposure within a financial services organisation.

**In support of Premium’s strategic initiatives, the Junior Strategy Analyst’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Collating data and writing various reports for key initiatives including board reporting
- Reviewing and distilling contractual and commercial documentation
- Research external trends and maintain a register of peer activities and metrics
- Financial analysis and creating graphs and presentations
- Collate Board and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) packs
- Draft and deliver internal presentations to management
- Create ad hoc tools, frameworks and documents as required
- Travel to our head office in Melbourne occasionally

**Skills, attributes and experience required include**:

- 6 months - 1 year previous experience working within a financial services organisation in a similar position post-graduation
- Business or strategic management degree or similar desired
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex business challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
- Highly proficient Powerpoint and Excel skills
- Highly effective communication skills with the ability to distil complex topics and engage Senior Executives in a concise manner
- Ability to encourage and embrace new ideas to achieve continuous improvement
- Quick learner eager for broad and challenging role.
