**About the Assignment**

To administer SAP Master Data activities, participate in Finance SAP system month end close processes, assist with SAP Finance data integrity.

This role is part of a centralised Financial Services team that provides specialist finance SAP services to all finance operations across Santos.

Tasks include:
Master Data administration responsibilities include:

- Creation and management of master data specifications and templates
- Assist in the SAP governance project, including implementation of IQX master data automation tool, and other master data process improvement initiatives that streamline the team’s activities
- Perform regular reviews of SAP master data to identify issues before they arise in the month end process
- Ensure data quality, compliance and consistency of master data across business systems****:

- Contribute to GL account reconciliations
- Assist with systems journals
- Assist with month end close as required, particularly pertaining to master data activities and overcome any issues as they arise

Finance System governance accountabilities include:

- Work with functions outside of Finance to ensure SAP interfaces and processes operate successfully
- Troubleshoot finance data errors
- Contribute to the Standing Journal Register, including compliance monitoring

This assignment is initially offered for 7 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.

Location for this assignment is Adelaide working full-time office hours.

**About You**
- SAP Finance system or master data knowledge
- Problem solving and strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience building and managing internal relationships and collaboration with others to meet common goals and objectives
- Excellent communication skills, with experience working cross functionally and managing different stakeholder needs

**Mandatory Tickets / Quals / Certs**
- Accounting, Commerce, Information System or similar Tertiary Degree
