Financial Analyst

**Your new company**

My client is a leading supplier in energy, oil & gas. They are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of permanency.

**Your new role**
- Execute key Controlling (CO) month end close processes across S4 including allocations and settlements across all companies.
- Monitor the daily system settlement for networks and orders and work with the Business and Master Data to resolve all errors in a timely manner.
- Monitor the daily system CATS transfer for time writing and work with the Business and Master Data to resolve all errors in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Master Data the closure of people and clearing cost centres to ensure integrity of the allocations process.
- Support the allocation input processes including loading SKFs and manual allocations as part of month end.
- Support third party and internal audit queries as they relate to allocations, month end close and system integrity processes.
- Provide evidence for general ledger and month end internal and external audit control testing and evaluation.
- Ensure adequate system validations and controls to maintain data integrity including monitoring key SAP interfaces.
- Oversee, administer, and govern the finance reconciliation tool including all licenses, training and end user support.
- Complete complex reconciliations and provide assistance to others as required.
- Drive SAP improvement projects to optimise system performance and/or process efficiencies.
- Troubleshoot finance data errors in SAP by working across finance and IS to find and implement suitable solutions.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA Qualified
- Strong SAP Finance system knowledge, in particular experience with assessment/distribution cycles is non negotiable for this role
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong skills at an advanced level with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with building and maintaining internal relationships and collaboration with others to meet common goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience working cross functionally and managing different stakeholder needs.
