Seeking an inquisitive, capable analysis or data science professional with relevant commercial experience that supports strategic decision making through high level analysis and communication.

**About the Role**
The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for analysing, interpreting and reporting financial, strategic and risk analytics. The role contributes to ensuring HomeStart is positioned to provide products and services that support the achievement of the organisation’s strategic objectives. Further responsibilities of the role include:

- Monitoring and analysing economic trends and statistics and their impact on organisational and loan portfolio performance
- Undertaking analysis and modelling relating to the Portfolio to identify trends and drivers
- Developing key insights into the performance of the loan portfolio
- Preparing analysis and statistical modelling for the Board and management
- Monitoring and reporting on the performance of loan asset quality
- Identifying and analysing product profitability
- Working closely with the Business Intelligence team to identify and implement process and reporting improvement related to data analysis, analytics and insights.
- Contributing to the annual actuarial review of credit risk and asset performance
