**The Role**
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven **Sales Manager** to lead our front-of-house team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be motivating and coaching staff, driving sales growth, and ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience every day.

We are also happy to consider applicants who would like to join as a **Sales Manager Trainee**. In this pathway, you’ll receive structured training and support while completing a **Certificate III or Diploma in Retail** or a **Certificate III or Diploma in Leadership & Management**. This is a great opportunity to build a career in retail management with Bakers Delight.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Drive **Spend Per Transaction (SPT)** and upselling initiatives through coaching and example
- Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold Bakers Delight standards
- Manage rosters, training, and performance of sales staff
- Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and community initiatives
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment

**About You**
We’re looking for someone who:

- Has strong leadership and people management skills (or is motivated to develop these skills through training)
- Thrives in a fast-paced retail or food service environment
- Is sales-driven with a focus on results and customer satisfaction
- Enjoys training, developing, and motivating a team
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is flexible and willing to work weekends and peak trade periods

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $27.88 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 38 per week
