**About the Role**
We are looking for a Talent & Culture professional to join our administration team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with the Heads of Department to drive and foster a positive work environment while assisting to identify and recruit new talent. This role offers exposure to all aspects of HR, in an environment that offers autonomy, growth, and development.
What will you do day to day?
- Plan, develop, and implement T&C initiatives.
- General T&C administration and stay up to date with best practice & compliance.
- Administration of the employee database and other HR systems.
- Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Compile and analyse our people metrics and communicate trends, opportunities and risks.
- Lead T&C projects such as improving the new starter experience and quarterly celebratory event coordination.
- Build strong relationships and provide trustworthy advice to our team.
- Assist with payroll.
- Be an active listener for our people to come to in their times of need.
You are naturally people orientated, able to build strong relationships, and have experience an administrative role. You are passionate about creating a memorable employee experience, ensuring that our culture is reinforced through all aspects of the employee life cycle.
- Bachelors degree in human resources or related (desirable, not essential).
- Previous experience in a administrative, HR coordination or similar role.
- Exposure to Labour Law and employment equity regulations.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Exposure to payroll practices.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Current Drivers License
