Austeel Industries Pty Ltd has been a market leader in the Prefabricated, Modular & Transportable Building Industry and has been servicing clients throughout Queensland and Northern NSW for over 35 years. Our client’s range across a wide span of industries and markets, including hire companies, small businesses, short term accommodation, residential construction, music festivals and other major events.
**About the Opportunity**:
Austeel Industries is seeking a highly motivated and energetic A-Player to further our production teams capabilities. As a part of recent growth, we have established a secondary work area separate to our main workshop, and are now seeking a workshop coordinator to oversee this part of our production.
This role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities and tasks including:
- Coordination and organisation of work for teams of highly skilled and motivated contractors assembling modular buildings
- Quality Assurance during and after the build process to ensure top quality product
- Receiving and organising stock and materials for the assembly team
- Transferring prefabricated packs of frames into the workspace, and removing completed units from the work space
- Coordinating storage and dispatch of completed units.

You will be able to work autonomously in coordinating the flow of work through the workshop, effectively managing timelines and voiding roadblocks that can create delays. This position required a keen eye for detail and a commitment to stand be a champion for our quality standards. You will also need to enjoy and be suited to working in a high energy, high paced environment and be complimentary to the energy of the workplace. Ideally you will have your own transport and be available during the flexible hours we offer, to make coming to work as easy as possible for you.
Most importantly: you will need to be prepared to make a commitment to yourself and to the team that you will turn up daily and give your best effort
