Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Drake Group WA Spare Parts Interpreter needs to be customer service focused to ensure all spare parts orders and enquiries are processed in a timely and efficient manner.

**Authority & Responsibility**:

- Coordinate daily operation of parts department to ensure stock availability to workshop, field service technicians, interstate branches, and end users
- To provide analysis of stock inventory, stock levels and maintain reorder levels
- Provide effective leadership & performance management of relevant personnel
- To ensure parts administrative activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures

**Your duties will include**:

- Maintain sales records and reports
- Maintain close liaison with all customers, sales, service and other departments to produce key outcomes
- Parts receivable/despatch
- Parts sales/invoicing
- Efficient and timely supply of parts to workshops, stock transfer (FST) & Clients including entry into database
- Maintain all relevant paperwork and spreadsheets
- Effective housekeeping of parts department
- Maintain parts stock levels and re-order as required
- Ensure continuous improvement in systems and procedures

**You will need**:

- Competence in use of Workshop Equipment
- Ability to read & interpret drawings & specifications desirable
- Forklift Ticket required
- Current Driving Licence
- Fundamentals of warehousing and stock control - Inventory management
- Computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite, Pronto system or similar
- Understanding of OH&S & EPA obligations
- Awareness of business concepts, P&L fundamentals
- Knowledge of Haulage industry
