**The Client**

Alcoa of Australia are a global industry leader in bauxite, alumina and aluminium products. IMS Workforce (IMSW) provides technical services to Alcoa with our teams embedded across all Alcoa operations in Western Australia. This role is a key member of Alcoa’s onsite maintenance team at the Pinjarra Refinery.

**The Role**

The Cogen Maintenance Coordinator is accountable for managing maintenance best practice for WAO powerhouse operations and power distribution, ensuring that equipment reliability and availability is maximised in a planned, safe and cost-effective manner to enable maximum generation and uninterrupted supply of power to WA Refineries

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Manage preventative maintenance and carrying out repairs as necessary.
- Strategic planning, investigating improvements to avoid equipment failure
- Recording repairs and modifications to maintain equipment history.
- Monitor contractor performance, driving improvements in productivity;
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with the Alcoa Safety Requirements and Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994;
- Controls extra work items within agreed budget and schedule;
- Engaging in the process of implementing continuous improvement projects.

**Skills & Experience**
- Recognised A grade electrical license or relevant degree
- Cert IV in Frontline Management (desirable)
- Intermediate/Advanced skills in Microsoft, primarily Excel
- Safety verification and compliance
- Substantial field-based supervision and contractor management experience
- Work productivity management
