Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Project support officer on a contract for 6 months, option to extend.

**Position Overview**

**About the Role**:
The contractor will be engaged to support the project management of identified systems issues through to resolution. The role will require a broad range of skills spanning a number of key capabilities, including written and verbal communication, analytical skills and project management.

Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Maintenance of issue and risk logs
- Project support to the Project Lead
- High level data analysis, including QA of data
- Development and management of filing and record keeping strategies
- Assistance with process mapping
- Stakeholder engagement and liaison with other teams in the Department, and with Services Australia

**Required capabilities, experience and/or qualifications**

Essential
- The ability to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively with colleagues in a geographically dispersed team environment.
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills, including ability to meet deadlines with competing priorities and delivering work to a high standard with good attention to detail.
- Demonstrated high standard of written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Desired
- Experience with excel pivot tables
- Call centre experience
