Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**Project Support Officer** to be responsible for a range of administrative tasks for the department.

**What is a Project Support Officer?**
The Project Support Officer works independently to undertake a range of administrative tasks including maintaining Risk Registers, Stakeholder Matrix, and management of Program and Project artefacts within the team.

The Project Support Officer will take responsibility for the provision of support services to projects, use and recommends project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking projects whilst supporting programme or project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.

**About the Role**:

- Maintain program and project Risk Registers; including regular reviews and updates; advising team members if they have been nominated to execute risk treatment; and facilitating project risk workshops
- Maintain project documentation. Ensure that all documents meet audit requirements
- Implement stakeholder communication plans, enhancing customer and stakeholder relationships
- Provide administration support including schedule maintenance, monthly reporting, and resource management
- Provide general administrative support including management of project record keeping requirements and systems; secretariat support for project meetings and forums and other communications
- Provide complex office and administrative support to the Program Office

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Knowledge of the Project Management methodologies
- Demonstrated administration and organisational skills within Defence’s Desktop Environments
- Demonstrated experience in the management of project governance board engagements

**Required**:
