**About the team**
The Funding, Policy and Reform area is responsible for leading the review of the Disaster Assistant Guidelines (DAG) as well as implementation reforms required to address the findings of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) Review, including leading and communicating change to strengthen funding administration capability for DAG and DRFA measures within the Reconstruction Authority, rather than the decentralised approach presently.

**About the role**

We are seeking a Project Officer - Policy Review and Implementation to support the development of policies and strategies, business plans and processes and communication strategies within the DRFA program.

This role will allow for work across the entire Reconstruction Authority, and other key agencies in NSW government and stakeholders. In this role you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of consultation and decision-making forums across the Reconstruction Authority and NSW Government, review and development of new policies and documents that align with the DRFA Review and analysis of options and processes that deliver improved accountability and functionality of the DRFA system in NSW. You will be required to review and analyse key material, work closely with the team and other stakeholders to identify how best to support the effective and efficient transition approach for projects, programs, policies and operational changes.

**We are looking for a Project Officer with**:

- **Research and Analysis**: review and collate extensive information and consider the broader strategic context when developing practical solutions that inform continuous improvement.
- **Initiative and solutions focused**: ability to generate new ideas and opportunities to improve systems and customer service needs and requirements.
- **Project Management**: experience in project planning and delivery, with a focus on ensuring that projects and initiatives are executed on time and within scope.
- **Communication and stakeholder engagement**: the ability to engage stakeholders, build relationships and to develop critical communication materials and information to drive change and reform.
