Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator

**About the role**:
The Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator is a fixed term with a view to a permanent position, based at Goulburn.
Reporting to the Planning Manager this role is responsible to Co-ordinate inventory and purchasing activities that contribute to the smooth operation at this facility.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Meet specified business requirements in correspondence with Purchasing, Inventory, EOM reporting, Reconciliation, and production task list
- Prepare, interpret, and share cyclical reports
- Forecast and plan based on trends
- Develop and communicate business vision with all key stakeholders
- Lead investigations into any Inventory/purchasing issues, follow up to ensure they don't reoccur utilising the systems ie SAP, FileMaker etc
- Drive rigorous Continuous Improvement, enhancing innovative thinking and best practices in the purchasing and inventory space
- Takes a proactive and strategic approach in the management of Inventory and purchasing
- Maintain the relevant communication tools required to advise business of the status of the systems and its improvement programs
- Negotiate with Stakeholders to improve the efficiency and sustainability
- Continuously promote a safe system of operation in the workplace with a goal of Zero Harm
- Comply with all relevant safety, health and environment legislation and policy
- Model safe working practices and take appropriate action to rectify potential safety problems to ensure AFS meets its statutory and duties of care obligations including Chain of Responsibility

- General Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Qualifications
- Proficient in SAP
- Analytic approach to managing risk
- Proficient in Excel, Word and FileMaker
- Understanding of Enterprise recourse planning and accounts receivable
- Strong customer service focus
- Collaborative style
- Strong stakeholder management
- Solutions focus & creative thinker
- 2 years experience in a similar role preffered
