Our client is a growing and respected supplier of machinery to the manufacturing industry. To this end we are seeking an experienced and talented Service Coordinator to join their operations in Melbourne’s south-east.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service team. Your duties will include:

- Liaising with customers and scheduling their service/breakdown requirements
- Coordination of technicians to attend calls for service
- Collaboration with management regarding upcoming installations and required allocation of resources
- Other administrative tasks as required

In order to thrive in this role you will need the following:

- Previous service coordination/scheduling experience essential
- A high level of organisation and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a variety of stakeholders, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills and focus
- Ability to handle occasional out of hours work calls
- Experience with the sheet metal industry highly regarded
