Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne is seeking a full-time Recruitment and Employment Consultant.

**The role will be responsible for**:

- arranging for advertising of job vacancies, interviewing and testing of applicants, and selection of staff
- maintaining personnel records and associated human resource information systems
- providing advice and information to management on workplace policies and procedures
- arranging the induction of staff
- providing information on current job vacancies in the organisation to internal and external job seekers
- studying and interpreting legislation, awards, and employment contracts, and dispute settlement procedures
- overseeing employee participation initiatives

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of recruitment practices and relevant employment legislation
- Full understanding of the sensitivity and confidentiality of the function and ability to act upon it
- Excellent organisational skills and detail oriented
- A heart to serve
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using Human Resource Information Systems, including Employment Hero, highly desirable
- Experience in a faith-based organisation highly desirable

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
