**About the role

The role of Psychology Lead is to provide specialised clinical and rehabilitation services to mental health consumers within Forensic and Secure Services. Forensic and Secure Services is comprised of the State-wide High Security Inpatient Service and Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit. The role is responsible for the professional and operational leadership of psychologists within the service.

About you

Demonstrates capacity to provide advanced psychology services, professional and operational leadership of psychologists in the context of a Forensic and Secure inpatient setting.
Demonstrates advanced level of clinical acumen in the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of psychology interventions and programs.
Demonstrates high level communication skills in the context of managing the psychology team and leading initiatives across discipline and service types including adept negotiation, management and resolution of conflict.
Demonstrates proficient operational management skills and accountability for meeting prescribed fiscal and human resource management targets.
Demonstrates ability to set direction and lead relevant service development activity in the context of a state-wide specialist service.

Mandatory Requirements:
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
