International Mobility Lead

**About the role**

JBS Australia is recruiting an experienced International Mobility Lead to join the Group Talent Acquisition Team in a permanent, full-time capacity.

Based at our Northern Operations head office in Riverview (Ipswich) and reporting to the Group Manager - Talent Acquisition, this role will focus on international sourcing strategies as well as the development, implementation and reporting of migration focused initiatives. Leading a team of three Mobility Coordinators, you will provide strategic and adaptive operational leadership to meet the emerging and changing needs of JBS Australia and its national mobility program.

**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Develop and manage JBS Group’s migration process and ensure operations adhere to the process
- Build sector, community, government and business understanding of key the areas of migration requirements
- Oversee immigration activities and develop a settlement program for skilled and unskilled workers
- Provide advice for cultural integration to JBS’s senior stakeholders
- Build and manage migrant agent supplier relationships
- Extend the reach and exposure of JBS career opportunities through the relationships with local, national and international employment and education providers
- Establish a strategy and roadmap for the optimisation of available migration pathways
- Develop trackable initiatives that drive awareness and conversion of migrants
- Develop an understanding of the seasonal programs of all business units, and subsequent manning requirements to ensure business units fill workforce plans
- Develop monthly statistics to manage and report on the migration workers’ placements
- Provide analysis of migration activities through reports to identify areas of opportunity, and recommendations to improve

**About you**

This role will suit a passionate migration specialist with the drive to lead a national mobility program. Key skills and experience that will see you succeed include:

- Tertiary qualifications in International Law, Migration, HR or another related discipline
- An in-depth understanding of immigration practices
- Established relationships with international organisations that support the recruitment of skilled labour
- Experience working with government departments to help expedite immigration activities
- Demonstrated experience managing migration requirements from various countries outside of Australia
- An understanding and proven ability to onboard migrants in a blue-collar setting
- Demonstrated experience in managing migration agent supplier relationships
- Strong ability to lead a diverse range of manning projects including implementing effective agile processes
- Ability to effectively influence, negotiate and partner with diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience in data-driven decision making and the ability to identify trends and key insights,
- Skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and SharePoint experience is beneficial
- Responds calmly in difficult situations maintaining a strong customer service focus
- The ability to prioritise and multi-skill with a keen eye for detail
