**Disability Support Worker**

Strength Focused Care is looking for an experienced and exceptional Support Worker on a PART TIME basis to join our team, reporting to the Manager.

Strength Focused Care works with clients’ strengths to offer highly individualised support. By getting to know each client one-on-one, we can offer tailored support that addresses their needs, respects their choices, and helps then work towards achieving the things they care about. Programs are targeted at promoting, enhancing and maintaining people’s independence, health and wellbeing.

Our vision is to create a centre of excellence for services to achieve better health for better living.

**Role and Responsibility**
- Provide support to individuals, across numerous mediums and in various ways with constant integrity and tenacity. This includes helping the client in the shower, preparing their dinner, getting them ready for bed and other general activities.
- Deliver a service that meets the needs of a highly disadvantaged group while operating in line with legislation, regulation and best practice guidelines
- Plan, prepare and execute business objectives in an aim to assist the community
- Communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders in an efficient manner

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
- Working with Children's Check
- NDIS Workers Check
- Driver’s license
- Up-to-date liability insurance
- At least. Certificate IV in Community Services Work is required

**Desirable**
- A can-do attitude, enthusiasm and great communication skills
- Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
- This role is predominantly evening work
- Experience in behaviour management preferred
- Own reliable transport

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
