**JOB CRITERIA**
- Possess Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Hold qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Experience working in a diverse, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Demonstrate strong intellectual capacity and emotional intelligence suited to the role's demands.
- Showcase analytical skills for effective problem-solving.
- Exhibit leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate within a team.
- Willingness to travel to sister site as required.

In addition, this role will also be responsible for:

- Supervising and directing training, education, and onboarding initiatives within the company.
- Formulating WHS policies, guidelines, and procedures to facilitate the effective execution of safety practices.
- Conducting safety inspections and evaluations, ensuring adherence to company and legal standards, and implementing recommended measures as needed.
- Producing safety reports and maintaining registers to transparently document safety accomplishments and current requirements/issues.
- Coordinating risk control strategies and executing improvements to WHS processes and guidelines.
- Engaging with pertinent industry organizations to uphold a high standard of WHS management competency and adopt best practices in HSE, operational risk, and environmental management.
- Overseeing relevant safety committees and taking the lead in workers' compensation and injury management endeavours.
