**About the role**

Our business is growing and so is our team, we are currently seeking a Specialist Tenement Compliance Geologist to join our Project Services Division. Reporting into the Manager of Contracts and Compliance, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the company’s exploration activities to ensure that expenditure and work program commitments are met to maintain tenement compliance.

Your exposure to tenements is what we are looking for, how you have come about such maybe not through a traditional Geology pathway, we are open to considering various mining backgrounds.

**Role Accountabilities**
- Maintain a high-level project that tracks exploration activities in line with expenditure and specific reporting commitments
- Work closely with the tenement management team to track expenditure and report submissions
- Work closely with Exploration Geology team to monitor the progress of exploration programs
- Manage the submission of annual exploration reports
- Maintain regular and effective communication and feedback with peers, subordinates, and superiors
- Contribute to improved practices and procedures
- Other statutory and technical reporting and work tasks as required and directed by the Manager of Exploration Contracts and Compliance
- Ensure MinRes Health and fitness for work initiatives including BAC Testing, COVID management, Mental health and fatigue are implemented and understood

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Tertiary level education in Geology or similar (desirable)
- High level of competency in Microsoft Office, ARCGIS, and Landtrack System or similar
- Sound knowledge of relevant Mining Acts and Regulations, Aboriginal Heritage Act and Department of Mines, Inudtry Regulation and Safety requirements in relation to tenement administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-discipline and positive attitude, with an ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Meet deadlines and manage priorities to meet deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Project management experience (desirable)
- Cert IV HSE (desirable)
- Multiple years exploration geologist (desirable)
