**HSE ADVISOR**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are seeking an experienced and driven HSE Advisor to join our operation in Cameron Park NSW. The HSE Advisor will report to the General Manager and will continuously improve the Safety and Environmental requirements of the business. The role will provide support to Ampcontrol’s other operations.

The key responsibilities include:

- Promote conversion of existing manual Ex documentation, reporting and traceability processes to workflow and digital processes
- Assist with Ampcontrol hosting of, and direct engagement with, all external and internal audits
- Engagement with Ex certifying bodies on product conformance and certification
- Ensure all systems reasonably minimise injury risk to employees and contractors at site
- Maintain site hazard, risk management strategies and all related reporting. Seek to continuously, reasonably, reduce risk
- Engage with Group HSEQ and promote Group initiatives at Ampcontrol
- Integrate Live, Work, Better principles into HSEQ initiatives
- Promote waste minimisation and optimise waste stream processes.
- Support Ampcontrol Australian Packaging Covenant engagement and initiatives

**ABOUT YOU**:
Your willingness to be hands-on and thrive in a specialised and changing environment will be complemented by the following:

- Formal tertiary qualifications in OH&S (minimum Cert IV OH&S) or equivalent
- Degree (or higher) in Quality or other related fields
- Highly experienced with an ERP system
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in auditing
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written, presentation)
