**The Role**: We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist a 29-year-old male participant in Birtinya, QLD, who sustained a spinal cord injury post a workplace accident. Our participant loves the outdoors, fishing, art and spending time with family and friends. He enjoys having meaningful conversations and getting out in the community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervision and Prompting
- Companionship & Capacity Building
- Assistance with domestic tasks, including cleaning & meal preparation
- Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises
- Medication Prompting
- Transportation: community access, health-related appointments, etc.

**Roster**:Weekly.
- Monday: 11:00am - 3:00pm
- Wednesday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
- Thursday: 1:30pm - 3:30pm.

**Compensation**:

- Day Shift: $38.75 per hour
- Travel Allowance: $0.99 per km (for medical-related travel)

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Valid Australian Driver's License
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Current Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Current Blue Card
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Completion of NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
- Third Party Compulsory Insurance
- Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
- Please note: Two current references are required._
