**About us**

Superior Disability Care is a disability support organisation based on the Sunshine Coast looking for quality support workers who value continuity of support. We have a person centred approach and our focus is to match our participants with support workers who they will be able to form a great relationship with to achieve their goals.

Successful applicants will require flexible availability including morning, afternoons, nights, sleepovers and weekends. Out of school hours required.

We value our support workers and understand the importance of a good work/life balance therefore we work closely with our staff to ensure they are happy within the workplace.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent required
- NDIS worker orientation module
- Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded - ASD, Down Syndrome, Mental health, Personal care, Medication management, hoisting, enteral feeding, and stoma care.
- Current first aid & CPR
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current national police check (or willing to obtain)
- Open license
- Full comprehensive vehicle insurance
- Access to a smart phone

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Individualised community-based support
- Support & skill building in home and in the community
- Working with participants to develop independence and daily living skills
- Providing personal care to participants
- Contribute to the ongoing development of a person-centred team
- Assist with medications and other duties as specified as per the participant support plan
- Maintain participant records to ensure consistent and quality care
- Actively contribute to a team environment through open communication, participation in regular staff meetings, planning and reviews
- Be adaptable to changing circumstances and being able to priorities work
- Display a client focused and person-centred manner

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sunshine Coast QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
