**Job Title: Disability Support Worker**
**Location**: Sunshine VIC 3020

**Job Type**: Subcontract
**Pay**: $33 - $45 per hour
**Expected Hours**:10 hrs to 20 hrs

**About the Role**:
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated **Support Workers** to join our team. You will play a vital role in providing person-centered care and support to individuals with disabilities and/or mental health needs, helping them to live independently and participate actively in their communities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
- Support clients with community engagement and skill-building activities
- Promote health, well-being, and independence
- Follow person-centered support plans and communicate effectively with team members
- Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety and NDIS standards
- Maintain accurate and timely records of support provided

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent experience
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Valid ABN
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Immunisation Certificate (COVID-19 and others as required)
- Physically fit and emotionally resilient to meet the demands of the role
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- 1+ year experience in providing personal care or in-home/community support
- Experience supporting people with disabilities or mental health conditions
- Understanding of person-centered and active support approaches
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening
- Comfortable with basic technology (MS Word, Outlook, data entry, etc.)

**Shift Availability**:

- Morning shifts
- Afternoon/evening shifts
- Overnight shifts
