**About the role**
Reporting into the Manager - PBS Digitisation, the Project Officer will support the Project Manager and project team to ensure integration of the PBS scheme into the NHVR Portal delivers a streamlined, customer focussed experience.
**In this role you will**:
- Support the Project Manager to deliver a complex digitisation project within specific timeframes.
- Contribute to the identification and documentation of business processes and data requirements.
- Assist in the analysis of business processes and information flows and identification of process improvement opportunities.
- Engage with stakeholders to help capture user needs and identify customer impacts.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities for the team.
- Identify change impacts and communicate to programs and stakeholders.
- Produce artefacts to support change and communication activities.
- Work collaboratively to define and improve the user experience.
- Assist in the preparation of briefing material and other relevant advice and documentation for the NHVR Executive, Project Manager, Program Lead, and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain professional networks and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and report risks and issues on a timely basis and work with appropriate parties to identify an implement solution.
- Adhere to all NHVR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NHVR internal processes.
- Comply with WH&S policies and procedures and contribute and promote a safe and healthy work environment.

**Highly Regarded**:
- Degree level qualification preferably majoring in Engineering, Business or Information Technology
- Working knowledge of the heavy vehicle industry and the PBS scheme.
You will demonstrate initiative and attention to detail, as well as an ability to work with mínimal supervision and contribute to the achievement of team goals. With a positive and flexible attitude, you will enjoy working in a fast paced, high-volume environment with multiple competing priorities and ambiguity.
Along with your excellent written and oral communication skills, you will have the ability to effectively negotiate with and influence a diverse range of people with a view to achieving desired outcomes and improving overall organisational maturity. An ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal clients and external stakeholders will see you thrive in this role.
