**About the role**
As a Key Account Manager for Dulux, you will establish, nurture, and manage business relationships with key commercial contractors and tier 3 & 4 commercial builders. You will also work directly with DuluxGroups business units, builders, developers, and architects to generate specification, drive profitable growth in the state.
This role reports into the Regional Sales Manager and will play a key step in targeting and securing effective business relationships with your client base. You will have excellent internal resource to leverage from as well as a great team that are committed to helping you succeed. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic to grow our market share within the industry and progress their career with Dulux.
**Responsibilities**
- Effective account management of commercial customers and tier 3 & 4 builder projects
- Establish relationships with targeted commercial builders and key accounts.
- Manage Project Tracking Meetings, including task setting for major infrastructure and insurance builders
- Conduct frequent site visits and project management, engaging with all key stakeholders to win projects
- Coordinate the specifications of our DuluxGroup products for our developer and commercial builder clients.
- Occasional regional travel will be required.

**Skills & Experience**
- A solid background in sales, business development and/or key account management
- Strong understanding of the decision-making process in commercial construction
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability work across various levels of management (eg preparation of agreements using legal templates)
- Experience using CRM systems for analysis, reporting and planning and a thorough understanding of how to use data to drive business outcomes
- Technical knowledge of coatings is desirable
