**About this Opportunity**

We are looking for a proven, passionate and dynamic Transport Operations Governance Manager to join our thriving and successful supply chain and logistics team. This is a great opportunity for a logistics/supply chain professional to play a key role in Supporting the day to day execution of national transport requirements, through post-despatch tracking and investigations, as well as identifying and improving proactive delivery communication.

Based at our South Brisbane or Scoresby office with work from home options, this role will be responsible for monitoring and communicating internally and externally, with transport carriers and customers, on the timely despatch and delivery of orders nationally to enhance visibility and customer assurance.

**Key Accountabilities include**
- DOT & DODD Monitoring & Performance level reporting & Communication lead.
- Exception communication and management daily.
- Safety, Service & Cost Impact Issue Log management.
- Carrier/ Lactalis non-conformance management, issue resolution.
- Quality control - Temperature Breach management
- Supply Disruptions escalation, communication and execution management
- Carrier on boarding compliance & induction (Operational)
- Relevant and sustainable KPI driven performance management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements, specifications, quality control.
- Change Management execution with internal & external stakeholders.
- Establish and drive CI opportunities to reduce cost and improve service.

**Ideally you will have**:

- 3+ years of experience in the FMCG Transport sector.
- Understanding of logistics operations and short shelf supply chain operations
- Strong leadership attributes, people and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to influence change
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Pragmatic with ability to manage time and priorities well
- Understanding of logistics operations and short shelf supply chain operations
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to think laterally and develop new concepts to drive business initiatives
- Comprehension of operational Chain of Responsibility
- Understanding of Mass Management requirements
- SAP knowledge essential
- SAP (SAP Shipments & Shipment Costing - Transport Module) - advantageous
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel (medium / advanced)
- Pragmatic Analytical acumen
