This is a unique opportunity to apply your project management expertise and strategic planning skills to initiatives that improve connectivity, enhance customer outcomes, and deliver lasting benefits for communities across the state.

The Principal Planner will apply project management expertise and specialist transport planning knowledge to lead and support the delivery of major multi-modal transport planning projects in Queensland in accordance with TMR's OnQ Framework, Queensland Treasury's Project Assurance Framework (PAF), and Infrastructure Australia's requirements.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

•Build relationships and work successfully with key stakeholders, both internal and external to TMR (including TMR regions, Translink and local governments), to ensure good transport planning outcomes are achieved for the transport network. Managing major project interfaces with other related planning projects (led by others) is critical to this role.

•Provide support to your Manager including a range of ad-hoc tasks such as project reporting and cash flows, project briefings, responding to incoming correspondence, and preparing/providing technical presentations to stakeholders.

•Creating a positive working environment for a high performing team driven towards improving customer outcomes and delivering high quality outputs to all stakeholders.
