**About the Company**
Our Client is a leading producer of high-quality products and have an amazing career opportunity for an Accounts Officer to join their successful team.

**About the Role**
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of Accounts Receivable and Payable Ledger transactions.

**Your Duties**

**Accounts Payable**
- Timely and accurate receipt and processing of approved invoices with supporting documentation.
- Generate payments in accordance with procedures to ensure any discounts available are taken advantage of and late fees or interest charges avoided.

**Accounts Receivable**
- Receive and process EFT and cheque remittance advices corresponding with daily bank statements.
- Obtain claim authorization/s, verify discounts are entitled to and process in accordance with standard procedures.
- Reconcile and report variations between invoiced amounts and payments received and follow up all outstanding issues with relevant departments.
- Preparation and processing of Accounts Receivable and Payable Ledger transactions

**Credit Applications and Control**
- Ensures monthly statements are sent in a timely manner.

**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Accounts Officer role
- Excellent communication and articulation skills
- Ability to function well under pressure and prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Self-motivation, drive and reliability
- Outstanding organisational skills
