**The Role - Full time - 12 month fixed-term contract based in our Epping Head Office.**
This role is part of the Finance team and reports to the Accounts Payable Team Leader. You will work closely with the broader Finance, Procurement, Property, and Operations teams, as well as with Facility Managers, Service Advisors, and Regional Managers across residential and community services. You’ll also liaise with external stakeholders including suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely resolution of enquiries, account accuracy, and excellent service outcomes.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Process invoices, claims, and staff reimbursements in line with SCC policies and payment terms
- Assign and manage items in the AP inbox, ensuring timely review and follow-up
- Monitor and manage Promaster transactions and reconciliations
- Assist with vendor setups, payment runs, and month-end activities
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Enter and maintain accurate AP records in the finance system
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure records meet audit and compliance standards
- Support efficient retrieval and reporting of finance-related data
- Respond to internal and external enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Escalate account holds or payment delays appropriately
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., Operational Managers) to resolve queries and ensure invoice authorisations
**Education and Experience**
- Minimum 1 year in an accounts payable or finance support role
- Understanding of AP processes and GST concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Experience working with financial systems (e.g., Epicor)
- Certificate in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting (Desirable)
- Exposure to aged care, not-for-profit, or health sector environments (Desirable)
- Familiarity with OCR or invoice automation tools (Desirable)
- Understanding of finance policy compliance and record-keeping requirements (Desirable)

- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally across teams and with suppliers
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
