**Purpose of Position**
This position provides for transactional processing and effective management of the revenue, billing, receipting and resident liability functions of SCC.
**Main Activities**
**Revenue & Billing tasks**:
- Process fortnightly billing
- Prepare direct debits schedules
- Process and update changes of funding and fees
- Reconciliation of funding, fees and charges and client accounts
- Maintain resident’s database
- Reconciling clients’ accounts
- Process resident exit and entry notices
- Prepare termination refund and exit payments in accordance with established procedures and within legislative timeframes
- Respond to accounts enquiries
- Ensure prompt collection of fees, payment plans and outstanding debts
- Follow up on fee rejections and deferred payment plans.
**Administrative tasks**:
- Photocopying, filing and archiving
- Information retrieval
- Relief reception
- Data entry
- General duties as directed
**Essential**
- Minimum of two years in a finance office environment;
- Demonstrated understanding of accounts receivable processes;
- Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel
- High level of computer literacy using a diversity of modern accounting and related software packages. (Epicor v9 currently in use)
- Intermediate level skills in MS Office (Outlook, MS Word)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Strong networking and stakeholder relationship skills
- Ability to maintain task focus
- Customer service focus;
- Commitment to client and staff confidentiality and privacy;
