**About the role**
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the senior leadership team, the Head of Operations will lead a team of 15+ staff spanning operations, projects, compliance, health & safety and people and culture. The role will assist the CEO with the day to day running of the organisation, including setting and implementing organisational goals, priorities and strategic plans. Key to the position will be driving operational excellence, managing strategic projects and project management, ensuring timely flow of information among leadership and stakeholders, effective and regular compliance management and review of financial performance. The appointee will lead and inspire a high performing and engaged team and build and motivate a dynamic group of highly trained volunteers.

**About you**
Tertiary qualified, you are a proven business executive with experience gained in a contemporary, professional and fast paced organisation. An inspiring and authentic people leader, you demonstrate excellent project management skills, are adept at strategy development and thrive on building, galvanising and motivating successful and engaged teams. You are a well-rounded executive with the ability to critically review and analyse information, manage compliance requirements, proactively solve complex problems and build strong effective client and stakeholder relationships. Technologically proficient, comfortable with learning new systems, and an excellent written and verbal communicator, you are driven for results, appreciate political sensitivities, and are passionate about championing initiatives to drive a high-performance culture and operational excellence.
