Procurement ManagerSouth of the river, Perth12-month fixed term contract – potential to go permanent

Core Talent is looking for a motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join a national business based in Perth. In this role, you'll take the lead on developing and delivering procurement strategies that help the business run efficiently.

You'll build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate great commercial outcomes, and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver smart sourcing and procurement strategies that align with business goals
  • Perform market analysis to identify new opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure the best results
  • Manage supplier performance and help resolve any quality, delivery, or service issues
  • Oversee the full procurement process from requisition to payment
  • Streamline processes and champion continuous improvement
  • Ensure the business is compliant with company policies, legal standards, and ethical practices
  • Support sustainability goals through responsible sourcing
  • Work closely with finance and operations to plan and manage procurement budgets
  • Help build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and ongoing improvement

Skills & experience:

  • Experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management
  • Contract management
  • Project management
  • Knowledge of ERP or sourcing systems- SAP / Oracle
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
