Children's Services Support Officer

We are seeking a passionate, kind and enthusiastic person to join our Clarence Children’s Services team as a Support Officer.
Working across council’s Family Day Care, Outside School Hours & Vacation Care programs, you will play a fundamental support role in the operation of these functions. You will join a caring team and take on a fantastic opportunity to leverage your knowledge in a child focussed environment.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Knowledge and skills to assist in the development and implementation of the educational program in the scheme.
- Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and/or the Framework for School Age Care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with issues using sensitivity and discretion and present an appropriate image for the organisation.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Current First Aid, Emergency Asthma Management and Management of Anaphylaxis Certificates, or the ability to obtain these certificates.
- Current driver’s licence.

This is an ongoing, part-time role offering 24 hours per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays are workdays).
