Environmental Health Support and Immunisation Officer

Help deliver immunisation services and support environmental health initiatives that keep our community safe and well. We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to coordinate key public health programs and provide essential support to our Environmental Health team.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and deliver council’s public and school immunisation programs, ensuring compliance with the Public Health Act 1997.
- Maintain accurate records, manage vaccine logistics, and support cold chain protocols.
- Provide administrative support across environmental health services, including food safety and public health licensing.
- Respond to community enquiries and help manage key communication channels such as brochures, website content, and internal reporting.

**About you**:

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and general office systems.
- Ideally, experience or involvement with immunisation programs and relevant software and knowledge of the current Australian immunisation schedule.
- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

**What we offer you**:

- Base salary between $75,071.65 and $86,731.41 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 12.5% superannuation
- Fixed term (12 months), full-time
- Monthly rostered day off
