**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to assist with recruitment, maintaining employee records, payroll processing and provide administrative support to the human resource function as needed.

**Required skills and qualifications**:
**Tasks and responsibilities**
- End to end recruitment process
- Coordinate the on-boarding and off-boarding processes
- Ensure the workplace policies and procedures are up-to-date and effectively communicated
- Assist with staff assessment in consultation with department managers
- Coordinate training and development
- End to end payroll processing and administration
- PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover and Superannuation payments
- Maintain staff files, payroll information, leave and employee benefits forms
- Oversee the OHS functions and requirements of the business
- Build a positive performance culture for the company — where everyone is aiming for the same goals
- Month end and adhoc reporting as required

**Desired skills and experience**
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in similar positions
- Single Touch Payroll and end-to-end payroll experience
- An honest and highly ethical character
- Knowledge of HR legislation, regulations, Awards and Industrial agreements
- Extremely strong administration, communication, and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering work to a high standard
- Ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organisation
- Solid understanding of state payroll compliance
- Intermediate to advance computer software skills (including MS Excel and other accounting packages)
- Thorough policy and process development and implementation experience
- And ideally:

- Working knowledge of Xero and Employment Hero
- Experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment
