**About the role at Macquarie Cloud Services**

We are looking for an energetic, tech-obsessed team member to join our Demand Generation hub as a Business Development Representative. As the first point of call for many of our prospective customers you’ll be able to quickly establish rapport and use your information gathering and problem-solving skills to connect Australian IT decision makers to our team of cloud and security experts. This is not a Inside Sales role.

**Seniority**

**Junior** - A role for someone with some basic skills, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically 1-2 years of experience is required.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Outbound Prospecting - Generate new sales opportunities and move them through the funnel by drafting outreach messages and sequences, and identifying the needs of customers
- Market and Customer Research - Conducts research into relevant trends, industries, markets and customers to develop informed sales strategies
- Sales Pipeline Management - Efficiently navigate the CRM and other operational tools to create, update, retrieve, and understand information about accounts and opportunities
