**The role**:

- We are seeking a Quality & Compliance Manager who will contribute to our mission by driving quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our Assets and Maintenance operations. Your focus will be on ensuring our fleet meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and delivers exceptional outcomes to meet contractual requirements whilst adhering to legislative standards.
- In this role, you’ll report to the Head of Assets and collaborate with a team of talented professionals and bring your unique skills and perspectives to support our goals. The role will be based at Port Botany Depot, with travel required to Randwick Depot, Waverley Depot and other Transdev offices.

**Your responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive fleet audits and implement the asset management framework across operations to ensure compliance with NHVIS, OEM standards, and legislative requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement using performance data to identify opportunities for innovation, and optimise cost efficiency to support the delivery of contractual requirements.
- Work closely with the Service Delivery team to implement the Asset Management Plan and minimise maintenance costs.
- Provide advice and insight to the leadership team on asset management best practices through reporting and data analyses to meet compliance requirements of all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Manage regulatory inspection schemes, lead any relevant incident investigations and liaise with customers, auditors, and external parties as required.
- Support the Head of Assets in recruitment, training, and competency management to meet all contractual and legislative obligations and ensure a capable, compliant workforce.
- Maintain and update records for hazardous waste materials management and disposal procedures. Develop all relevant policies and procedures as required.
- Implement and enhance HSEQ frameworks across operations, ensuring teams are trained and equipped to work safely and effectively.

**The talent you bring**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a compliance, risk, or assurance role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry or similar.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in transport, business, compliance and law or related discipline is highly desirable
- Has a current HR Licence and a Heavy Vehicle Inspection Ticket is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to engage and influence change.
- Proven track record of delivering compliance and assurance initiatives that drive continuous improvement
- Strong initiative and ability to plan, organise and prioritise multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex quality and compliance issues
