Reporting to the Communications Team Lead, the Communications Specialist (Internal) is responsible for planning, sourcing and developing, and distributing internal communications that support Chisholm’s Vision: empowered local communities with global impact and Role: working together to enrich lives through education.

The Communications Specialist (Internal) has exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, and the ability to convey complex information in simple language. You are comfortable developing content for multiple channels that captures Chisholm’s brand, authenticity and tone of voice. You have a deep understanding of communications practices, having developed nuanced and comprehensive comms plans that have returned tangible results.

The incumbent will have strong proven working relationships with stakeholders with the ability to proactively identify core communications angles and craft relevant, audience-specific messaging. The Communications Specialist (Internal) may also engage with a wide variety of external stakeholder groups including students, media and agency partners.

The Communications Specialist (Internal) represents the Institute according to Chisholm policies with authoritative, timely and accurate information. They provide ongoing support to the Communications team, wider Marketing Department, and to Chisholm Executive when required. They support Institute events with the goal of amplifying the success of the Chisholm community.

**ABOUT YOU**
- You will have a relevant degree and relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in communications and marketing.
- Demonstrable experience in developing, implementing and evaluating communication plans.
- Highly skilled in narrative-led storytelling within a technical, complex or nuanced environment.
- Exceptional written, verbal and digital communication skills, with high expectations for quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow Chisholm’s brand, tone and writing guidelines.
- Good understanding of data analysis and reporting methodologies.
- A high level of enthusiasm, flexibility, self-motivation, and initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach coupled with the maturity to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders from various backgrounds.
- Excellence in research and information sourcing
- Experience in coordinating content across owned and earned channels
