A new and exciting opportunity to join the team at MacKillop is available, we are currently seeking a **part-time (**3 days - 22.8 hours per week), Education Specialist based in Dandenong. This role is situated mostly in out-of-home care facilities.

Our vision at MacKillop Education is to ensure equity and access to learning for all children and young people who are vulnerable and disengaged from education. As an Education Specialist you will develop strong, supportive professional relationships to engage students and provide a safe and stimulating environment for learning.

**Key Requirements**:

- Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check; OR a valid VIT registration
- Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Appropriate experience and qualifications in education.
- Experience working with children and young people who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from education.
- A sound understanding of how trauma impacts on learning.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing individual education plans.
