A new and exciting role has been created at MacKillop Education in Dandenong seeking a **part-time **Education Specialist.

Our vision at MacKillop Education is to ensure equity and access to learning for all children and young people who are vulnerable and disengaged from education.

This is a Permanent Part-Time (3 days - 22.8 hours per week) opportunity based in Dandenong.

**Key Requirements**:

- Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check; OR a valid VIT registration
- Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Appropriate experience and qualifications in education (e.g., Tertiary qualification as a teacher with current VIT registration; Certificate IV in Education Support; or other relevant qualification).
- Experience working with children and young people who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from education.
- A sound understanding of how trauma impacts on learning.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing individual education plans.
