We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Junior Training Support Officer to join the ESS team within our fantastic Academy facility at the Perth head office.

THE POSITION:

- Tasked to deliver and maintain the training of ESS employees to verify competency of work operations in a safe and efficient manner
- Manage team performance
- Prepare training reports for management
- Responsible for ensuring that all tasks associated with Academy training are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations and are in line with ESS and our offshore/remote division of Compass Group Australia Promotion of our safety culture framework is expected

THE PERSON:

- Prior experience in hospitality or as a utility all-rounder
- Experience in coaching others on-the-job
- Sound computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in workplace health and safety issues
- The ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner
- Flexible approach and attitude
- Willingness to work as an all-rounder trainer in areas such as bar, retail, barista, housekeeping, catering
- Prior OH&S training and/or accreditation, prior Food Hygiene training and/or accreditation, and/or valid Responsible Service of Alcohol will be highly regarded
